Low Foaming, High Temp, Eco Friendly PARTS WASH

Over the years Kem Tech has sold many different Parts Wash Solutions. We made everything from powder, liquid, alkalines, caustics, neutral pH, etc. But recently we started from scratch and that meant going to potential customers to ask what they wanted in a Parts Wash in the “Perfect World” circumstances. Of course we had to cut through the sarcasm and jokes and inform them that we cannot make a product that cleans metal, protects metal, tastes like beer and costs nothing.

So the reality of our discovery was that everyone had some pretty simple requests that for some reason had not been addressed by Kem Tech or our competitors. The number one request was that everyone wanted a low foaming product. With so many companies using a multitude of cutting fluids and some of those being surfactant based, foam seemed to be a huge issue. Next was that they wanted the product to be able to be run at very high temperatures without creating the need for high cost defoamers. Many customers complained about how many products claim to be low foaming but really are not. And the other complaint was that many products that are low foaming have defoamer pre blended into them which are susceptible to fall out of solution and cause problems within proportioning devices. And lastly the most commonly requested product specification was that the product be safe for the employees using it every day. And if you are a Kem Tech customer already you know that we pride ourselves son making products that are user friendly first and eco friendly second. What we have found is that by putting the user first not only shows our customers that we are concerned about their safety but that our simple concept of; if it’s safe for humans its safe for the environment.

So with all of those requests we went back to our lab, our suppliers and some good old R&D. And after about 6 months of a handful of generous customers letting us do onsite testing at no cost, we failed, got better, improved and then all of a sudden we nailed it! We feel that the product we developed call Surfcat 792 LFRI Parts Wash – Low Foam (Using no defoamer) – High Temperature (Higher the temp the less foaming) – User and Eco Friendly (Completely green profile) is the best all plant and all purpose Parts Wash on the market today. We currently have more customers than we projected during the R&D process using our soap than we would have ever imagined. It has been put to the test in everything from small auto garages to billion dollar companies who have written the product into their manufacturing processes.
