    Toilet Bowl Cleaner w/ SBP

A non-hazardous toilet bowl cleaner with Surface Barrier Protection

We've just taken the concept of barrier protection in a different direction. Combining two of our innovative technologies ( AR-5200 Acid Replacement Technology and our polymer based surface barrier protectan ) a new and extremely unique toilet bowl cleaner was developed. The incorporation of these two products produces a clinging-type toilet bowl cleaner that not only cleans but leaves a temporary polymer film behind that coats the ceramic surface and thus makes subsequent cleaning easier by preventing stains and soils commonly associated with toilet bowls.

In an independant study, we compared Kem tech's Toilet Bowl Cleaner with SBP to two of the leading brands currently on the market ( Lysol Powerons Gel Toilet Bowl Cleaner and Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Teflon ). The purpose of the test was to determine which of the three products caused the water to drain off the upper part of a toilet bowl during flushing. Water that does not drain off the surface will dry on the surface and leave water spots/ film that will dull the appearance of the surface.

The final results of this test showed that both the Kem Tech and the Clorox products caused the water to bead on the surface and rapidly move off the test panels. However, the Kem Tech Bowl Cleaner with SBP had less water beads remaining than the Clorox product which indicates that the Kem Tech Bowl Cleaner with SBP out-performed the Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner with Teflon. The Lysol product caused water to sheet on the panel thus leaving a film of hard water salts.

  Tile & Grout Cleaner w/SBP

Our polymer based chemistry provides exceptional soap scum and soil resistance while imparting soil release properties to finished surface. This technology prevents the buildup of mineral deposits and surfactant films associated with hard surfaces. The micro thin layer of protection imparted to the treated surface renders it highly resistant to soap scum buildup and mineral deposits.

Our Bath - Tile and Grout Cleaner containing surface barrier protection (SBA) cleans dirt and grime and leaves behind an invisible protective barrier. The barrier prevents future build up of soap, grime and mineral deposits associated with shower walls, sinks, tubs, toilets, urinals and other hard surfaces.

Bath - Tile and Grout Cleaner contains safe and effective cleaning agents designed to remove the toughest bathroom and surface soils. After rinsing, an invisible polymer film is left behind which prevents new grime from sticking. Subsequent cleanings are a breeze.

This product will save countless labor hours!
Bath - Tile and Grout Cleaner is the first super concentrate available with this technology.

Note!  Bath - Tile and Grout Cleaner is also available with hydrogen peroxide added for those who want the added benefits hydrogen peroxide offers.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will it make showers and tubs slippery? No

Does it contain bleach or harmful acids? No

Can it be used on stainless steel, glass shower doors or fixtures? Yes

How long will the surface be protected? Under normal conditions, about 1 week or approximately 8 - 10 showers.

Since it is a super concentrate, what is the mix ratio and cost? The recommended dilution is 2.5 ozs. per quart. Compared to the only similar nationally advertised “ready-to-use” brand, the cost savings are at least 80%. Please note that this is comparative chemical savings. Reduced labor for cleaning commercial facilities could easily save thousands of dollars annually.

  DEMONSTRATION
The photograph at the right shows the remarkable protection afforded tile and glass surfaces when treated with “SBA” . In the demonstration to the right, one half of the tile was treated using our Bath - Tile and Grout Cleaner and then rinsed quickly under cold water. The tile was then allowed to dry. Once dry, tile was sprayed repeatedly with a standard soap and hard water solution and rinsed with cold water. As the photo demonstrates, the treated half on the right side of the tile resisted deposits and remains clean after excessive exposure to minerals and soap residues.
